Marvelous Mushrooms
One company is raising awareness for Alzheimer's research by releasing an NFT project! On February 7th 2022 VitaCap released a collection of mushroom NFT collectible cards. They were created to increase awareness on the benefits of functional mushrooms. These will be 50 hand-designed digital collectibles available on the Ethereum Blockchain. Preclinical studies suggest that functional mushrooms may reduce inflammation and biological markers that can lead to Alzheimer's disease. Functional mushrooms are also known to improve cognition and increase the release of nerve growth factor, which is a protein that helps improve nerve functionality in those suffering from various forms of dementia.
The Art
The art that was created were 5 colorful characters. All based around 5 functional mushrooms (Lion’s Mane, Turkey Tail, Reishi, Cordyceps & Chaga), as well as 10 unique backgrounds to showcase these fabulous fungi in a unique, psychedelic state.
This NFT project will release on OpenSea and will include copies of varying rarity for each of the 50 unique illustrated cards.
